ENTRY FEE:   $180 per player ($130 for juniors; $50 is subsidized by NHWGA) includes entry, practice round, cart fee, range balls and barbeque on Wednesday, July 7th            (from 12:30 until all players finish). New this year TOP 20 Gross prizes and daily net prizes will be awarded Universal Pro Shop Chits that may be used at any of the New England Pro Shops.

Entries Open May 1, 2010                   Entries Close on June 5, 2010

FORMAT: 54-hole medal play; after Wednesday, field cut to low 70 plus ties and anyone within 10 shots of the leader in her respective category.

The use of distance-measuring devices will be allowed in this championship.

 

PRACTICE  ROUND:  Included in entry, anytime after June 15th.  To schedule your tee time, call pro shop (802-422-4635) and identify yourself from NEWGA. 

 

ELIGIBILITY: A contestant may be any amateur woman golfer with a USGA handicap index of 17.4 or less, must be a member of NHWGA, and must be a legal resident of one of the six New England states. A junior is any girl who has not reached her 19th birthday by the opening day of the tournament. A junior of 18 years of age is eligible only if she has not begun her first semester of college. A junior does not have to be a member of a NEWGA member club.

Parents or guardians are NOT allowed to caddie for juniors.

AWARDS: NEWGA bowl and championship prize, plus low 10 (54 hole) gross, daily gross and two low nets, including ties; senior prize (50 years or over), legends prize (65 years or over), junior prize (18 years or under). The Cartin Trophy is competed for concurrently with the championship being awarded to the state that has the lowest total of one gross and two nets each day.
