CHAMPIONSHIP ELIGIBILITY NHWGA - State Am


NHWGA CHAMPIONSHIP 


FORMAT & FIELD:

102 Low Handicaps, including 2011 NHWGA Junior Champion and Runner-Up. Entry fee will be waived for the Junior Champion.

54 Holes stroke play; field will be cut to low 60 plus ties after 36 holes.

Twenty gross prizes will be awarded. Playoff for 1st gross. All other ties will be broken using the USGA recommended system (Last day, last nine, last six, last 3 etc.). Ties for 20th place will be honored.

Net prizes will be awarded to the top players not receiving gross awards. Ties will be honored.

No card – elimination from the tournament, including daily net awards. 

ELIGIBILITY:

 

1.        Only members of the Association with a current handicap index according to NHWGA policy will be eligible to participate in the NH Women’s Golf Association State Amateur Championship provided they abide by the tournament requirements.

 

2.    Any amateur woman who wishes to compete in the NHWGA State Amateur Championship must be a resident of the State of New Hampshire as of January 1 of that year and be a member in good standing of the New Hampshire Women’s Golf Association as of the opening date for tournament entries.

3.   Any amateur woman residing outside the State of New Hampshire shall be eligible to compete in the New Hampshire Women’s Golf Association State Amateur Championship provided she is a member in good standing of the NHWGA as of the opening date for tournament entries and that she has been a member in good standing of an NHWGA golf club for the preceding three (3) years. Verification of club membership must be provided by the member on request.

4.   Parents and guardians are NOT allowed to caddy or coach juniors.
